Distracted but Still Here

Sorry for the month or so absence. I've been on the go with the girls and enjoying the weather. Here are a few pics of what we've been up to.

Been thinking about knitting and have been on Ravelry almost daily, but can't seem to get it together to sit down and accomplish anything. Is this normal for having two kids under 3?? By the end of the day I am pretty much wiped out and just want to sit and chill for an hour or so before my bedtime.

I've been too much inside my own head these days as well. Still questioning my decision to not go back to work full time. Ironing out the financial issues and all. Going around and around in my mind until I started to drive myself (and my husband) crazy. I am happy to say that I am finally at peace with my decision. There's not much I am sure about lately, however this I am. I want to enjoy this opportunity to be with my girls for as long as I can while they are still so young. It is a time to cherish.

I think it's a good decision :)

I have only one child who's under three (the other two are older) and I feel I can't concentrate on anything knitting related right now. Either there's something else to do or I'm just too tired. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining because I'm not, I just wanted to say that I think it's normal not to be able to accomplish anything :D

Thanks for the positive words! Do you stay home with your children?

So glad you wrote again, Karen. I was missing your blog!
I feel the way you do about going back to work. I would love some adult interaction, but the kids are only little once. Having a 3 yr. old (can't believe he just turned 3!) and an almost 2 year old makes it impossible to get things done. Hope you're still coming to visit next month!!

Shannon,

I'm so glad you wrote:) I can't believe he just turned 3! We aren't coming in June...cost of tix, etc. More later.

Villapeikko...please tell me that as your children get older you are so happy you stayed home? I feel like this is how it should be

Karen, I stayed home with my older children too and I can say now that I'm happy I made that desicion and I feel I did the right thing. Maybe this is why it's easy for me to make that desicion again now that I have this little boy :)

Good descision! I've been without a (paying) job now for 3 months and guess what... I don't even miss my salary. I'm enjoying taking care of my son and working on my teaching and designing skills and 'product development'. All in all I have two jobs and no income, what's that 'a tjoni'... do they excist? hihi. Enjoy your girls and don't feel guilty about not getting anything done, you're getting a lot done with the girls as far as I can see from the pictures! :-)
