Well you wouldn't know it was summer around here. Raining for days on end and chilly nights. If the sun ever does decide to show itself I have a simple design using some wonderful bamboo yarn. This little bodice only used one skein for the size 2 dress and about 1/2 yard of cotton fabric.Pattern coming soon...

Hi Karen, Just so you know, I'm keeping track of your great designs but hardly ever take te time to comment, trying to do everything at once. It's great to hear from you.
Keep designing the cute and cool stuff!!
Thank you!

Thank you, Linda!
I cannot wait to make this for my two year old. I've been buying fabric to make it extra special, and once I'm done with the Myriad wrap, I'm going to play around with guage swatches for this dress.
SO cute. A classic, for sure.
Thank you, Gina. The best part of making this dress is planning all of the fabric & color combos!
OK, I'm finally getting ready to cast on! Wooo! And you're right, planning the color combos is fun!
Thank you for having so many pictures to use as a reference! I have been knitting swatches, then washing them to check for shrinking (I'm stash busting with a bunch of Cotton-Ease), and I was wondering if my size 8 needle swatch was too big, but it looks pretty close to your samples. My size 6 swatches shrunk so the yarn is so tight, the samples don't have any drape at all. It was really helpful to be able to zoom in on your knitting to get an idea of how my own knitted bodices should look. Thank you!
